I decided to test out a new recipe from my
Slow Cooker Recipes cook book. I did change the recipe up a bit with different types of cheese and it turned out pretty tasty. Bryan gave it two thumbs up and Luke wouldn't leave the kitchen when I was making it.

Macaroni and Cheese
- 6 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 cups evaporated milk
- 3 cups Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 cups Pepper Jack cheese, shredded
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Chili powder (to taste)
- In a large mixing bowl, toss macaroni with butter. Stir evaporated milk, cheese, salt, pepper, and chili powder; place in crock-pot slow cooker. Cover; cook on high 2 to 3 hours.
